May

Tuesday 1st May 3.00pm- 4.00pm-  Teddy bears picnic. We are raising money for momentum brain injury centre so please donate £1 per child and bear that joins us for the picnic.

Monday 7th May - Bank Holiday Nursery is closed.

Tuesday 8th May 2.00pm- 4.30 pm - May day party celebrations.  Wear your bright coloured clothes to nursery today for the party.

Tuesday 15th May 6.30pm- 7.30 pm - Parents forum meeting. Please tell Gemma or Angela if you are planning on attending.

Monday 28th May 4.30pm- 7.00pm - Caterpillars and Butterflies parents evening. Please come and book an appointment with Gemma in the office to come in and talk about your child's development and look through their learning journals with their key carer.

Tuesday 29th May 4.30pm- 7.00pm - Bumble bees parents evening. Please come and book an appointment with Gemma in the office to come in and talk about your child's development and look through their learning journals with their key carer.

Wednesday 30th May 4.30pm- 7.00pm - Dragonflies parents evening. Please come and book an appointment with Gemma in the office to come in and talk about your child's development and look through their learning journals with their key carer.

Thursday 31st May - Creative camera. If your child does not attend or you would like sibling shots please come for 8.50am.

June

Friday 1st June - 2.30- 4.30 - Jubilee party. Parents are invited to join in the fun. Please let Gemma or Angela know for catering requirements.

Monday 4th June - Bank Holiday Nursery is closed.

Tuesday 5th June - Bank Holiday Nursery is closed.

Friday 15th June -3- 5pm- Fathers day feast. All fathers are invited in to have a feast with their children. Please let a member of staff know if you are attending for catering purposes.

Saturday 16th June 1- 4.30- Winnersh fete.We will be holding a stall with lots of fun and exciting activities, please come along and bring your friends and family.

Thursday 21st June - Royal Ascot hat parade. We will be having a competition for the best decorated hat in each room, so please bring in a hat that has been made with your child.

July

Wednesday 11th July 4- 5pm - Summertime sing along. Parents and siblings are invited along to join in.

Thursday 19th July - Sponsored jumping jelly beans. Get as many sponsors as you can and see how long you can jump for without stopping. All proceeds go towards NSPCC and the nursery.

Monday 30th July - 2.30pm- 5.00pm- Sports day and Olympic party. Parents are welcome to come along and join in the fun.

August 2012

Sunday 12th August 2.00pm- 4.00pm - Pre school reunion. Meet teachers, parents and other children going to the same school that your child is going to in September.Venue's to be confirmed.

Tuesday 21st August - End of Ramadan. We will be celebrating by making sweet treats for you to buy and eat.

September 2012

Monday 3rd September - Friday 7th September - Happitots health awareness week. We will be doing lots of fun and exciting activities to promote healthy eating and staying healthy.

Monday 10th September - 3.30pm- 4.30pm Grandparents tea party. All grandparents are invited along to come and play and share tea with their grand children.

Monday 17th- Friday 21st Happitots harvest festival week. We will be packing the week full of cooking, healthy eating and collections for the elderly. Please donate any tins, fruit and vegetables that you can.

Wednesday 26th September - 6.30pm- 7.30pm Parents forum meeting. All parents on the forum are invited to join us to discuss future plans for the nursery and share the views of other parents. Please let Gemma or Angela know if you will be attending.

October

Wednesday 31st October - Halloween Party. Please dress up for a party with lots of games and spooky fun.

November

Saturday 10th November 3.00pm- 5.00pm - Parents pamper and shopping event. Tickets will be on sale from October. If you are interested in holding a stall please call Gemma on 01189770811.

Monday 12th November - Remembrance day celebrations. Bring your child along wearing red for the day please.

Tuesday 13th November - Divali disco. Celebrate Divali in your favourite party outfit and get ready to dance.

Monday 12th - Friday 16th - Children in need. We will be taking part in many activities to raise as much money as we can for children in need.

Thursday 15th November- Imago Photographers. If your child does not attend this day or you would like sibling shots please come to nursery for 8.30am. 

 Monday 26th November- Thanksgiving. Please dress in red, white and blue.

Friday 30th November - St Andrews day (Scotland). PLease dress in blue to celebrate St Andrews day.

December

Tuesday 4th December - Wear red or green day.

Monday 10th December - Christmas baking day. We will be baking lots of yummy treats to sell. All proceeds go to NSPCC and the nursery. 

Wednesday 12th December - Christmas baking day. We will be making more yummy treats to sell. All proceeds go to NSPCC and the nursery.

Thursday 13th December - Dress up as an Elf day.

Tuesday 18th December - 3.00pm - 4.00pm- Christmas Carol concert.Parents and Grandparents are invited along to our carol concert.

Thursday 20th December - Children's Christmas party. If your child does not attend this day and you woudl like them to come along they are more than welcome, but parents must stay with them.

Friday 21st December- Christmas story day. Please bring along your favourite christmas stories to share. Please make sure they have your name in them.
