Kingsclere Day nursery has been running for over 25 years in Wokingham, caring for children from birth to five years, within a homely environment in a rural location.We have a lovely garden backing onto woodland and a patio area outside. The inside of the nursery consists of a ‘family house’ made into an enriching environment for the children using rooms upstairs and down for play and learning, within a warm homely environment.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum providing opportunities for children to develop their skills in the six areas of learning. We promote positive partnerships with parents by welcoming them into the nursery at any time, and having daily conversations about their child and their needs, filling out feed back sheets each day for you to take home..

We love holding fun days for parents to come and spend some time with their children playing on the bouncy castle, joining in picnics, having breakfast with us are among a few of the things we have done over the past year.

Opening Hours
Kingsclere Day Nursery Day Nursery is open Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, apart from Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.
Occasionally we open on a Saturday mornings for coffee mornings with staff.

Catering
We have our own nursery cook who provides the children with a home cooked meal. We encourage healthy eating practices and offer the recommended ‘5- a- day’ fruit and veg portions.

We provide breakfast to children from 8 till 9.00am again in a free flow way when parents arrive at the nursery children can choose from fruit, cereal, toast, croissants,crumpets, yogurts through out the breakfast period. A hot meal is served for lunch, their main meal is followed by a healthy dessert. In the afternoon the children are offered tea. All of our meals are served with milk or water. We cater for all dietary, religious and allergy requirements and parent preferences.

Staff
Our senior staff hold qualifications varying level 3 NVQ's to trainees. All staff must have a criminal records check, first aid, and food hygiene, or be working towards them.

Special Features

 Here at Kingsclere we offer French sessions to children aged 2- 5 years. This happens once a week and changes day termly to give everyone the opportunities to participate.
